Unfortunately there has been a major increase in the number of “New Clients” not showing up for their appointments.  Because of this, we have established a salon policy requiring New Clients scheduling color or chemical services to put down a 50% security deposit. After service is completed, the deposit is put toward the total and only the balance is due. The deposit is refundable as long as the cancellation is made 48 hour before the scheduled appointment.  Anything less than 48 hours or a “No Show” results in the forfeiting of the deposit to the stylist the appointment was scheduled with.


We respectfully request that all date changes or cancellations be made 48 hours before your scheduled appointment. Last-minute cancellations are costly to the salon and to our staff.


To ensure a relaxing experience for our guests, we encourage guests to silence all cell phones.


Busy schedules often force you to arrive late. We promise to make our best effort to fit your service into the schedule. If you are more than fifteen (15) minutes late, we may have to modify your service or reschedule you for another time, based on availability.


Requests must be made within 7 days of original service. Guests are given the option of seeing the same stylist, or a different one based on the needs of the redo.


Occasionally we may be running behind. If that happens we will do our best to communicate with you while you wait and accommodate rescheduling your appointment, if needed.


The Parlor Aveda is a family friendly salon.  However, we feel the salon is not an appropriate place for unsupervised, loud children that would potentially disturb other guests who may be receiving services. When children are brought into the salon and not receiving services, we ask that a parent or other adult remain with them in The Parlor’s comfortable waiting area and not in the service areas.  We appreciate all cooperation in this matter so we can ensure a comfortable salon environment for all guests.
